PAULETTE LEWIS
My name is Paulette Lewis. I am a highly competent and well-respected leader, manager and nurse adviser, with extensive experience acquired in a number of senior management positions in nursing over thirty five years. My effectiveness in leadership and motivational ability is evident in delivering quality outcomes, resulting in national and international awards. I have utilised my transferrable skills to support charitable organisations locally, nationally and internationally and is highly sought after to trouble shoot. As president of the Nurses Association of Jamaica UK I have forged links with international health ministers in Jamaica and Chad and have presented on health topics in Austria, Philippines and UK. I work closely with the High Commission in the UK and have a very close tie with Jamaica and the Jamaican community in the UK where I am well recognised as an active advocate and community leader. My strong points are in leadership, organisational development, finance management and communication. I think I have much to offer as a member of the Jamaican Diaspora Council.

NATHANIEL PEAT
Nathaniel Peat is a Multi-Award Winning Entrepreneur, International Speaker, Engineer and man of many talents and achievements. In 2009 he was integral to the organisation of Jamaica’s first youth diaspora conference and he also served on the Diaspora Advisory Board as the youth rep. Nathaniel is the Chairman of Jamaicans Inspired which have engaged hundreds of Jamaicans by decent in philanthropic support of Jamaica over the last 10 years. In 2010 he represented Great Britain at the G20 Summit as a delegate for young entrepreneurs. The Financial Times have named him two times; in the UPstanding Leaders Powerlist which ranks 100 Executives in the USA/UK who have reached senior roles in business who champion ethnic diversity, and again as one of the FT top 100 Ethnic Leaders in Technology. Nathaniel is a co-founder & Patron of the EY Foundation (Ernst & Young), co-founder of GeNNex Solar, which provides innovative solar products in Africa. He also founded The Safety Box; a company whose training and development programmes assist with reducing youth violence & help young people develop important skills such as leadership & entrepreneurship. Nathaniel is passionate about Jamaica, is a positive voice for the community, and advocate wherever he goes.
